And u live in Canada like me, IT MEANS I CAN LEGALLY BUY CAR INSURANCE WHILE IM DRUNK.
Though now that I'm 18, i dun't even know what good drinks are, I haven't been really interested in drink mixing till now (I had one beer and it wasn't anything special). Any recommendations for a drink that can knock the socks off a elephant?

rum and coke is always good. or vodka and sprite. once you get a good buzz off stuff like that, then move to beer. beer tastes better when you're drunk.

If you like herbal type stuff (spiced cider, herbal tea, etc.), then try jagermeister. It's a thick herbal drink that tastes a lot like licorice. It's 35%, but the alcohol taste isn't very strong. If you want, you can dilute it with coke. That goes nicely with it.
If you want something else, try a chocolate martini.
1.5 oz chocolate liquer (dark chocolate liquer from Godiva is best)
1.5 oz creme de cacao (haven't found anything great for this)
2.5 oz half and half or cream
0.5 oz vodka
mix it over ice, or blend with ice. Tastes a lot like an alcoholic milkshake. You can substitute creme de menthe for creme de cacao, and you get a nice york peppermint patty type flavor. very good stuff. If you leave out the vodka, you can't taste the alcohol at all.
Another one of my friends just turned 18 too, and had one of those martini's and said it was good. You really know your drinks ;D
